Whole Wheat Tortillas

Ok, we made these tonight, filled them with sticky rice and chicken. They are great!

Whole Wheat Tortillas (from Food Storage Made Easy)
4 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1 cup warm water (may need a little more)
1/4 cup oil

Mix all ingredients to make a nice pliable dough.
Knead 1 minute and rest 5 minutes.
Roll dough into a thick snake; Cut into 18 equal pieces.
Roll into balls
Roll each ball very thinly.
Cook on hot nonstick griddle or cast iron pan on both sides---they cook quickly.
Keep covered in towel.

I halved this recipe and made 16 small tortillas about the size of my hand.. 4 to 5-inches in diameter. No they were not perfect circles, but they were yummy!
